Das Fahrradkino: How can culture and movement, sustainability and community spirit be combined? By pedaling to watch a film. With the exciting idea of using muscle power to generate electricity for an open-air cinema that is independent of location, the team applied last year for a microproject funding. And successfully implemented the first film evenings: For example in the old diamond factory, on the Sonnenberg and in the green classroom of the Scheffelschlucht. Chemnitz 2025 supported the project financially and communicatively.
