At the end of October last year, there was this scene with the envelope. And it really was Chemnitz on the jury’s note for the European Capital of Culture 2025. In January 2021, this was then officially confirmed by the Conference of German Ministers of Culture.
But what happens now? Who wears the hat? Who can be approached? Do I have to read the whole BidBook to understand the Capital of Culture? How can I get involved myself or with my association? So many questions about the Capital of Culture!
We want to answer them all and therefore meet with all interested participants on Friday, 7 May 2021 at 4 p.m. – digitally, of course! Everyone who wants to actively participate will meet in the interactive webinar – registration is required here. In addition, we will also be streaming all content in parallel on Youtube, publicly and for later review.
Of course, we also want to answer questions live – we are all about networking, sharing and an update. We want you to be able to tell others about it afterwards and meet new people. Because you don’t become a Capital of Culture alone!

If you also want to use the opportunity for networking and personal exchange with the team and the other actors in small video rooms in the second part of the event, you will need a laptop or PC with webcam and microphone.
