The people of Chemnitz are campaigning for the area along the river – this is the result of the evaluation of the micro-project “Chemnitz walks”:

They like it – the room by the river Chemnitz. The action “Chemnitz walks” is finished. The interest was great. 89% of the participants said that they like the Chemnitz, many know the river from their way to work (13%), sports (32%) or picnic (9%). Most (74%) simply enjoy the nature along the river, a quarter of the participants love to discover (26%) and 18% spend time there with children.

The survey showed that although a good half of the participants found the space by the river inviting, only a third were satisfied with the current situation. Many see a need for action: a quarter of the participants did not give any further details. The rest lack attractive places and offers for meeting (57%), closely followed by places of leisure (54%). 42% of the participants miss offers for adventure.

The attention test in the slogan has probably been passed by all of them, thus sharpening their senses for observations while walking. And the personalities from the questions on the back of the flyer – Haubold, Müller, Scheffel and Seeber – were probably mostly correctly deciphered, because the solution word on the front was wrong only once.
