When we stand before the European jury in Berlin on 10 December, he will have one of the most important parts, because Ferenc Csák is the head of our application. He keeps an eye on the long-term cultural strategy and funding, despite all the creative impulses from the city society and cultural actors. He came to Chemnitz after resigning from the Directorate General of the Hungarian National Gallery in Budapest in 2012 for political reasons. As State Secretary for Culture in the Ministry of Education and Culture in Hungary (2006 – 2010), he was Government Commissioner for the European Capital of Culture 2010 in Pécs.
