Am ersten Adventswochenende ist es wieder so weit: Der Auer Raachermannelmarkt wird am Carolateichareal eröffnet. Neben

dem Stollenanschnitt, dem traditionellen Pyramidenschieben und musikalischer Begleitung locken die Stände mit Köstlichkeiten wie

Glühwein, Roster und gebrannten Mandeln. Im Kinderzelt kommt nach der Märchenzeit der Weihnachtsmann vorbei. Wer möchte,

kann im Kulturhaus selbst aktiv werden, den Handwerkern beim Schnitzen, Klöppeln und Töpfern über die Schulter schauen, eigene

Punschkreationen zusammenbrauen und weihnachtliche Bastelarbeiten anfertigen.

At the Maker Advent, workshops, associations, artists and creative people in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture region invite you to work, turn, make lace, print, bake, make hats and sing together.The Maker Advent is part of the Makers, Business & Arts programme. This main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 is all about promoting creative tourism offerings and cross-sector collaboration between industry and creative professionals. The project is being implemented by the Kulturhauptstadt Europas Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH in cooperation with the Landesverband der Kultur- und Kreativwirtschaft Sachsen e. V.
