DESCRIPTION:9 May to 29 November 2025Sat-Tue: 12 to 18 o'clock\nAll the th
 reads of the #3000Garages project will come together in an exhibition from
  9 May to the end of December 2025\, in which photos\, drawings\, objects 
 and sculptures will be shown alongside found objects\, designs and documen
 tation of the diverse activities in Chemnitz's garage yards.\nThe exhibiti
 on will grow and develop organically\, starting with the second edition of
  Maria Sturm's photography exhibition "Mitgliederversammlung". Portraits o
 f Chemnitz residents taken by the photographer in the garage landscapes wi
 ll be shown together in one room.\nThere will also be announcements and vi
 deo teasers for other art works\, such as FISCHELANT\, Vogelperspektiven\,
  Innenlandschaften\, and the Chemnitzer Garagenschule and THE CARS WE LIKE
  projects. The collaboration planned with the artist Rainer Prohaska and t
 he VW engine plant in Chemnitz will also be presented on the opening weeke
 nd.\nNew elements will gradually be integrated into the exhibition\, illum
 inating the socio-cultural phenomenon of the "East Garage" from different 
 perspectives. The processual character of the artistic and curatorial work
  in the #3000Garages project is emphasised. Recordings\, documentation\, s
 ketches and texts are shown alongside artistic works and objects found in 
 the garages.
