DESCRIPTION:The large carpet\, which has been created in a series of works
 hops since September 2024\, will be presented to the public on 18 October 
 at 18:00 in the #3000Garagen exhibition. Together with Kati Hyyppä and Sa
 bine Hochmuth\, the WollBine\, over 200 people have worked on it and creat
 ed a textile with more than 300 motifs made of wool and yarn that shows Ch
 emnitz from different bird's eye views.\nThe real and imaginary elements o
 f the city were created in collaboration with many associations and initia
 tives - including Ukraine-Haus\, UndoYarn\, Lila Villa\, Big Table\, Inspi
 re - as well as with visitors to the Capital of Culture who joined the wor
 kshops.\nIt all began in a garage in Chemnitz\, where Sabine Hochmuth has 
 set up her wool workshop - a place that regularly opens its doors to the n
