 tumes from behind. She has travelled to many countries\, including Europe\
 , East and Southeast Asia and Africa. She recently travelled to Cuba for s
 everal weeks. With her back portraits\, she creates images of great beauty
  and visible cultural difference. in 2023\, she travelled to the Ore Mount
 ains and\, for the first time\, captured men in front of her lens\, repres
 entatives of various mountain brotherhoods in richly decorated\, tradition
 al garb. Gertz's view of the colourfulness of the world\, of people's work
  and celebrations becomes a lasting experience in a very special European 
 region.
