DESCRIPTION:Klub Solitaer e.V. is organising the Dialogue Fields residency
  programme as part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. Three
  international artists are invited to live in Chemnitz for six weeks at a 
 time and work on the theme of favour.\nDenise Lee / 李筑 (USA/Hong Kong/
 Taiwan) and Philipp Kolychev (Czech Republic) have been guests at Sonnenbe
 rg since 11 July. They are living here\, getting to know the city and its 
 people and developing new artistic ideas. They will be accompanied by the 
 Chemnitz artist Anne Schädlich\, who is developing her own artistic posit
 ion in response to our guests.\nPhilipp Kolychev 's mobile installation in
 vites passers-by to play chess and then eat the pieces. In doing so\, he p
 oses questions about public space and the social interaction that takes pl
 ace there. Denise Lee also invites people to join in. In her workshops\, v
 isitors can create trickster or jester masks\, which are then worn in a jo
 int parade. In many cultures\, the mythical figure of the trickster\, whic
 h roughly corresponds to the jester\, symbolises social change. With a fin
 al parade\, Denise Lee invites people to bring transformation to the stree
 ts. Anne Schädlich\, on the other hand\, transforms the textile legacies 
 on the streets of Chemnitz into areas that invite people to linger. She in
 terweaves their old stories and invites us to question our own perspective

 eighbourhood.\nOn 16 August we will kick off the intervention week togethe
 r\, during which the results of the five-week residency will be presented.
  On a short tour together with the artists in residence\, we will visit th
 e works on site and would like to engage in dialogue. The tour starts at 1
 6:00 at Lokomov in Augustusburger Str. 102.\nThe works developed during th
