They are living here\, getting to know the city\, meeting people from Chemnitz and developing new artistic ideas. They are accompanied by the Chemnitz artist and ceramist Viet Phuong Nguy en (TIEV)\, who is developing his own artistic response. The process of his creations is alway s planned from spontaneity\, experimenting and testing new and old techniq ues\, such as baking.\nTIEV follows the traces of change on the Sonnenberg . He is interested in places to which he feels personally connected and wh ich at the same time point to developments in the neighbourhood\, the orig ins of which often lie in lack\, inequality or social disinterest\, but wh ich create the breeding ground for a positive new occupation or appropriat ion.
