 her East German origins and her family history. She combines paintings by 
 her grandfather Karl Heinz Jakob with furniture from the post-reunificatio
 n period. In the current production\, she includes the painting ‘The Cel
 list’ and questions the legacy of the GDR and the ideological evaluation
  of art.\nThe PURPLE PATH art and sculpture trail presents permanent conte
 mporary sculptures in public spaces and tells stories from Chemnitz and 38
  communities in the region. Works by more than 60 artists are on display.
