 ot with scissors and glue\, but with lasers and digital precision! At Make
 rDay Augustusburg\, the digital workshop in the Lehngericht will be transf
 ormed into an open hands-on workshop for anyone who is interested in techn
 ology\, design and trying things out together.\nYou can realise your own w
 inter ideas in small workshops: Stars\, filigree tree ornaments\, personal
 ised gift tags or small wooden tea light holders - there are no limits to 
 the imagination. You will also be shown how to turn a simple idea on the c
 omputer into a real object that the laser cutter brings to life with light
 .\nWhether beginner or technology pro - everyone is welcome! The aim is to
  discover together which soft skills are required for makers: Teamwork\, c
 reative thinking\, problem solving and communication. A memo wall will be 
 used to record which skills become visible during the course of the day - 
 and to learn from each other.\nSimply come along between 10 am and 3 pm\, 
 experiment with moulds\, materials and engravings and take home the unique
  piece you have made yourself - perhaps as a gift for Christmas. Materials
 \, calculators and support are available here.\nThere will also be a lunch
 time snack and plenty of room for discussion.\nResults\, photos and impres
 sions of the MakerDay will also be shared online afterwards via the x-Inno
