DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Karolin Schwab’s ‘Floating Home’ and the his
 toric pattern template used by the artist Anja Schwörer for her artwork\,
  an open\, participatory project for all generations is taking shape.\nFro
 m a template printed in delicate shades of grey\, many hands are transform
 ing the design into a colourful collaborative work. Flowers are coloured i
 n\, thoughts are recorded and brought together to form new patterns. In th
 is way\, personal contributions weave together to create a vibrant picture
  of togetherness.\nAt the heart of the project is the question of what con
 nects people and gives a community the strength to flourish. The answers g
 radually blossom into flowers – diverse\, individual and created togethe
 r.\nThe event is complemented by the participatory installation ‘Floatin
 g Home – Weave Your Horizon’\, which invites visitors to visualise the
 ir ideas of home\, belonging and settling in. Anyone who wishes to can als
 o have a button embossed with the historical pattern and take home a memen
 to of the Purple Path.\nA project for discovery\, participation and reflec
 tion – at the intersection of art\, craft and lived community.
