SUMMARY:Microproject | Let community flourish! – an open\, participatory
  project
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Karolin Schwab’s ‘Floating Home’ and the his
toric pattern template used by the artist Anja Schwörer for her artwork\,
an open\, participatory project for all generations is taking shape.\nFro
m a template printed in delicate shades of grey\, many hands are transform
ing it into a colourful collaborative work. Flowers are coloured in\, thou
ghts are recorded and brought together to form new patterns. In this way\,
personal contributions weave together to create a vibrant picture of toge
therness.\nAt the heart of the project is the question of what connects pe
ople and gives a community the strength to flourish. The answers gradually
blossom into flowers – diverse\, individual and created together.\nThe
event is complemented by the participatory installation ‘Floating Home –
Weave Your Horizon’\, which invites visitors to visualise their ideas o
f home\, belonging and settling in. Anyone who wishes to can also have a b
utton embossed with the historical pattern and take home a memento of the
Purple Path.\nA project for discovery\, participation and reflection – a
t the intersection of art\, craft and lived community.
