DESCRIPTION:‘Latin American Heart Day’ is a vibrant celebration of cul
 tural diversity\, inviting people of all ages to discover and experience t
 he colours\, sounds and traditions of Latin America together.\nOn this spe
 cial afternoon\, the Weltecho is transformed into a place of encounter\, e
 xchange and cultural participation. Visitors can look forward to a varied 
 programme featuring live music\, dance performances\, communal celebration
 s and the chance to discover different facets of Latin American cultures.\
 nMusic and dance are a central part of cultural life in many Latin America
 n countries. That is why they are also at the heart of this event. Artists
  from different cultural backgrounds present traditional and contemporary 
 forms of expression and invite the audience to join in\, listen and enjoy.
 \nIn addition to the stage programme\, the event provides a space for peop
 le from different backgrounds to meet and engage in dialogue. The aim is t
 o promote mutual understanding\, build cultural bridges and highlight the 
 diverse contributions of the Latin American community in Chemnitz and the 
 surrounding region.\nParts of the programme will be presented in two langu
 ages (German/Spanish). The event is family-friendly and open to anyone int
 erested. Visitors are invited to discover the cultural diversity of Latin
