Today\, the smartphone is an essential tool for communication\, accessing information\, making a ppointments\, dealing with public authorities and building social relation ships.\nDuring the drop-in sessions\, participants learn together how to u se digital devices and applications. They receive support with operating s martphones\, using the internet\, communicating digitally\, and with quest ions about apps and settings. The focus is not only on technical knowledge \, but also on personal interaction and collaborative learning. A particul ar strength of the project is that it brings together people who might not otherwise meet in their everyday lives. Refugees\, people with a migrant background and other residents of the city get to know one another\, share experiences and support one another. This leads to new connections\, grea ter mutual understanding and a stronger sense of community.\nThe session c reates a safe space where participants can ask questions without fear of m aking mistakes. At the same time\, they practise and use the German langua ge in practical\, everyday situations. Learning together promotes independ ence\, self-confidence and active participation in social life.\nContinuin g the project is therefore of great importance\, as there remains a demand for support in the digital sphere.
