SUMMARY:Microprojects | Collective Print Experiments I – Open Linocut Wo
 rkshop
DESCRIPTION:Simone Illgen’s linocut workshop\, himbeerblau.lab\, provide
s everything you need: linocut plates\, ink\, rollers and tools. Anyone wh
o’s tried printmaking before can delve deeper into the craft. Those who’
ve never held a linoleum plate before are also welcome – Simone will sho
w you how it’s done\, and then you can try out whatever takes your fancy
.\nWe’ll be printing on postcards. Small in size\, but big on possibilit
 ies: every card is its own experiment\, a little gift\, a greeting\, a swa
p\, a work of art. We’ll be working indoors and outdoors\, around the Le
hngericht. The surroundings and the PURPLE PATH are our sources of inspira
 tion – brickwork\, plants\, shadows\, lettering… details that are some
times overlooked. You decide what becomes your design.\nFor the little one
s and anyone who wants to approach the project in a playful way\, there’
s a special printing method: printing with Lego bricks.
