SUMMARY:Opening: Sleep well!
DESCRIPTION:Spend the night in a work of art? It's possible at the Bochman
n organic farm in Neukirchen-Adorf. Instead of dairy cows\, the farm now o
ffers creative overnight accommodation for hikers and nature lovers. Desig
n students have developed mobile sleeping cells - known as "Very Tiny Hous
es" - made from unusual materials such as barrels\, trampolines and wheelb
arrows. The offer is complemented by an ecological kitchen station and sel
f-designed seating furniture. You can spend the night in the middle of the
paddock: you choose your spot in a large meadow and roll your bed there -
just as the mood takes you.\nOn Sunday 21 June\, the next sleeping cell\,
the LightHouse \, will be integrated into the existing ensemble and prese
nted to the public. It was built by Benjamin Amann\, a graduate of the Fac
ulty of Applied Arts Schneeberg at the West Saxon University of Applied Sc
iences in Zwickau.\nIn the hot summer of 2018\, the Bochmann organic farme
rs had to sell their dairy cattle. Since then\, they have provided simple
overnight accommodation for hikers and pilgrims. Together with students fr
om the Faculty of Applied Arts Schneeberg at the University of Applied Sci
ences Zwickau\, the Schlaf Schön! project was created as part of the Euro
pean Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 programme on the PURPLE PATH art and
sculpture trail.\nThis event is supported by the Friends of the PURPLE PA
 TH e.V.
