 gs. The choirs research songs of resistance\, discover the song and cultur
 al heritage of European border regions and reflect together on historical 
 contexts.\nThe historical power of songs to shape the rules that apply to 
 us today can be discovered in the unique setting of the Industrial Museum.
  Rousing melodies performed by 28 singers from the Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří
  mining region carry democratic ideas across borders.\nThe project is fund
 ed by the German-Czech Future Fund and is a project within the framework o
 f the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. This measure is co-financ
 ed by tax funds on the basis of the budget adopted by the Saxon State Parl
 iament and by federal funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for C
 ulture and the Media as well as funds from the City of Chemnitz.
