DESCRIPTION:Author Stefan Tschök is visiting all 38 cities and municipali
 ties along the PURPLE PATH in 2025. He will not only be presenting his boo
 k "Was? Chemnitz?!"(Paperento Verlag)\, a tongue-in-cheek instruction manu
 al for the Capital of Culture\, but also wants to engage in dialogue with 
 the residents: What do the local residents actually gain from the Capital 
 of Culture title? What do they get out of it - and how can they get involv
 ed?\nThese questions are at the centre of the panel discussion\, in which 
 guests from the town always provide answers - and the audience is also inv
 ited to take part. In addition to Tschök\, the mayor of the municipality\
 , Raik Schubert\, and the director of the museum\, Cornelia Hilsberg\, wil
 l be on hand to answer questions at the historical show weaving mill in th
 e Braunsdorf district of Niederwiesa. They will also be talking about the 
 works of art at the PURPLE PATH.\nNiederwiesa\, Frankenberg and Hainichen 
 lie like a string of pearls along the C15 city railway line. On Open Monum
 ent Day on 14 September 2025\, this very train route will become part of a
 n unusual event format based around the theme of the Capital of Culture. T
 his is because all three locations are closely linked by their industrial 
 and cultural past - in terms of textiles\, for example - and have therefor
 e created the "texTour" network. Author Stefan Tschök from Chemnitz will 
 be travelling through the municipalities for a day on the City-Bahn. And i
 n all three municipalities\, he will pose the question in a panel discussi
 on: Chemnitz is the Capital of Culture - but what do we actually get out o
 f it?
