DESCRIPTION:As part of the Threads of Unity project\, young people from Ch
 emnitz and the surrounding area have designed and sewn their own jackets. 
 The results of this creative process are now being presented as part of a 
 fashion show. An accompanying exhibition shows photographs of the jackets 
 as well as portraits of contemporary witnesses who once worked in the regi
 onal textile industry.\nThis creates a lively dialogue between past and pr
 esent: the individual designs of the younger generation meet the stories o
 f those who shaped the textile city of Chemnitz with their work.\nThreads 
 of Unity is part of Team Generation and takes place as part of the Betonbl
