SUMMARY:TANZ | MODERNE | TANZ - Vertigo Dance Company (IL) - MANA
DESCRIPTION:Choreographer Noa Wertheim's new dance piece is dedicated to l
ight. Together with her ensemble\, she explores the space in the breath\,
somewhere between inside and outside\, between the desire to fly and the l
onging to return home—always connected to the earth\, the light-giving "
mana\," and the healing. To this end\, she brings a unique spiralling move
ment to the stage\, gaining energetic momentum and transforming into an ex
pression of refinement and self-acceptance\, combining a sense of lack wit
h inspiration to fill and fulfil. Under Wertheim's artistic direction\, th
e Vertigo Dance Company\, founded in 1992\, has built up an international
reputation with an impressive repertoire of original works and a distincti
 ve dance language.
