  the exhibition space. The evening is dedicated to the topics of "foreign 
 worlds"\, cultural stereotypes and the legacy of Karl May in today's conte
 xt. Artists\, academicsand guests from Canada will take part in the discus
 sion.\nThe discussion will be moderated by Anne Ramstorf - a journalist wi
 th experience in the participatory fishbowl format\, which also involves t
 he audience in the discussion.More about the fishbowl format\nThe keynote 
 speech will be given by Prof Dr Christoph Vatter (University of Jena)\, wh
 o will provide insights into how social imaginations are created - and how
  we can critically question them.\nQuestions for discussion:\nCan we still
  imagine foreign worlds as freely today as we did in Karl May's time?How d
 o cultural stereotypes continue to have an effect today?What perspectives 
 do Canadian artists bring to the Ore Mountains - and how can they inspire
