<Jürgen Henker was born in Chemnitz in 1940 and studied at the University of Applied Arts in Heiligendamm from 1961 to 1964. Works by Jürgen Henker are in possession of public and private collections, including the Schloßbergmuseum, the collection of the Neue Sächsische Galerie, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem and the Toyama Poster Museum in Japan.
