Merlin Messenbrink was born in 1994 in Halle an der Saale and since 2000 is part of Anasages e.g. Theater in Chemnitz. He has done several internships in the techniques of visual arts and is engaged in painting (in private studies) since 2016. One year later Marlin Messenbrink participated in his first exhibition, “Hagalaz” at weltecho. In 2018 followed the exhibition “Zeichen Landschaften Worte” in the Café monk and in 2019 his first self-directed exhibition “Schauraum-Merlin Messenbrink” as well as the exhibition “based in Chemnitz – the younger art scene in Chemnitz” in the Neue Sächsische Galerie.
