Stat(d)tkultur: Chemnitz 2025 – European Impulses for Cultural Strategy and Capital of Culture

Numerous German cities are competing for the title of European Capital of Culture 2025, and with the conference STAT(D)T KULTUR: Chemnitz 2025 we are bringing European impulses to Germany from 13 to 15 November 2017.

A Capital of Culture application is based on a cultural strategy.

It is about a self-image, about basic principles, about a recommendation for action for cultural development. By means of a structured strategy process, a completely new dynamic can be created, which will help the city per se to move forward. In the exchange of all participants, a factual discourse is conducted, starting from the status quo. New insights and findings are derived, and established structures can be reassessed on the basis of a strategic orientation.

Discuss with European experts from Austria, Germany, Croatia, Bulgaria and Greece about the idea of the European Capital of Culture and cultural strategy.
