Networking event for new cross-border co-operations between Czech Republic, Poland and European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025.

The fact that Europe isn’t somewhere else, but on our own doorstep, is particularly true for border regions – and yet this isn’t always readily apparent. But it is precisely these regions that offer scope to exploit the potential this geographical and cultural proximity has to offer.

The aim of the Open Call Nr. 03/23 is to expand and update the program of European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 through new cross-border co-operations. The open call for ideas is intended to network creative people, artists, cultural and artistic institutions in the three-country region in order to respond to the new cultural and social challenges from different perspectives.

The networking event on 11 May wants to bring the interested parties together, provide an opportunity to get to know each other, thereby laying the foundations for potential, sustainable, regional and international cooperation.

Let’s meet and discover the richness of cultural differences and similarities between our three countries. Let’s exchange ideas for collaboration on all levels, from popular to high culture.
