Garage Festival
The big celebration of garage culture(s) for all ages
There is a meadow surrounded by almost 1,000 garages. It will host a festival celebrating garage culture. Garage users are actively involved in the programme, which draws inspiration from their life stories, hobbies and skills – be it vaulting on a mechanical horse, perfuming car air fresheners or breaking culinary records. The evenings will then belong to the artist Tanja Krone and a host of Chemnitz residents, who will perform SONGS OF (IN) SECURITY – The First Security Conference of Former East Germany. The details of the programme will be announced in spring 2025.
