Innovative solutions for social problems are developed under the motto "Creative start, sustainable impact", emphasising the potential of ideas for the common good . As part of a social hackathon, a central question about the prospects of staying in the region and equal opportunities is posed and small teams work together to develop possible solutions and creative approaches. The ideas will then be presented and awarded prizes.

The event kicks off on Friday at 12 noon with the official opening and first hackathon session, followed by networking, exciting stands and a cultural evening programme. Saturday starts at 10.30 am, before the teams present their ideas in short pitches. After the jury decision and the award ceremony, we invite you to further networking opportunities and mini impulses. The best idea can be supported in its realisation with a place on a scholarship. There will also be children's activities and information stands from our partners throughout the day. The event will be held partly in German and English.

There are numerous opportunities to get involved - whether with a presentation stand, as a team for the social hackathon, as a supporting mentor for the hackathon teams, as a co-organising cooperation partner or by helping to promote the event. Get in touch with us at gruendungsgarage@asa-ff.de.

One day before the Ideengarage, the Kulturhanse Conference: New Perspectives on Social Entrepreneurship in Eastern Germany will be organised together with the friends of the Kulturhanse network. This will take place at the same venue on 15 May 2025 from 10 am to 6 pm. Be there too and register at the Gründungsgarage.
