Additional services for the opening on 18 January

On the occasion of the opening weekend on 18 and 19 January, additional regional and local transport services were set up. The exact journey times can be found in the electronic timetable information on the usual information portals.

Please note that all C lines will run differently on 18 January 2025 due to closures in the city centre. From the north, lines C13, C14 and C15 will only run to Chemnitz main station. From the south, route C11 will run via Annenstraße to Technopark. The C13 and C14 will also run via Annenstraße to Altchemnitz.

Local transport in the city of Chemnitz

Chemnitzer Verkehrs-AG (CVAG) provides a more frequent service in the Chemnitz city area in the afternoon and evening hours. The exact journey times can be found in the electronic timetable information and on the CVAG website. Due to the European Capital of Culture events, there will be changes to the bus and train routes in the city centre.
