The guided tour offered by the Grünflächenamt in the Year of the Forest Floor 2024 prepares for the planting festival of the Chemnitz 2025 project LIVING SUSTAINABILITY from 3 to 10 November 2024 with the focus on "City and Forest". It will be accompanied by Andreas Streich (Head of Green Space Maintenance/Forestry Department).

LIVING NEIGHBOURHOOD

GELEBTE NACHBARSCHAFT is a main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, focussing on sustainability and a green city. Joint planting campaigns bring neighbourhoods in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture region closer together. The participatory project is flanked by suitable educational programmes and artistic activities.
