8. Philharmonic concert

This extraordinary gala programme focused on the Munich composer Richard Strauss, who had a special connection to Saxony. It included two of his early works as well as a late work and offered a fascinating overview of the development of his oeuvre - from the first, experimental steps to his late, masterful perfection.
