Alfons’s new programme takes a humorous look at the idiosyncracies of Europe. A Frenchman living in Germany, he reflects on attitudes towards life in both countries. What does it mean to be French, German – European? What do democracy, tolerance, and international understanding mean to us? Alfons balances his own perspective on these topics with exciting contradictions. His personal story becomes a European dialogue full of wit and charm. Alfons is aimed at school classes from year 9 upwards and invites the pupils to a discussion the morning after the performance.
