Dragbrunch, Queeno and Queer’n Work are just some of the events happening during the festival curated by Queeren-Netzwerk-Chemnitz… Over three weekends, Chemnitz celebrates the diversity of gender and sexual orientation. During the day, there are readings and discussions to attend, including one on the topic of intersectionality. If you prefer something more active, you can sign up for the voguing workshop, a dance style that originated in the 1970s and whose movements are based on the poses of models in magazines and on the catwalk. Then by night you can hit the dance floor with your newfound moves at parties (with or without karaoke).
