An exhibition in 2025 honoured a number of important figures who had shaped Chemnitz. Sculptor Ulrich Eißner created an impressive gallery of expressive portrait sculptures. Visitors were able to experience an exciting encounter with people whose work had had a lasting influence on the city's history – from sports and art legends to personalities from science and culture. The works told stories full of inspiration and expressed the uniqueness of Chemnitz. The exhibition invited visitors to discover the city and its extraordinary minds in a new way.
