Climbing over Chemnitz

A thrilling street circus bringing together architecture and performers

French, Czech and German circus performers have developed a circus and dance show in collaboration with architects. It’s all about change, in all its facets – be it ecological, towards a different climate, economic, towards a more sustainable economy, or social, towards a more caring society. The risks the artists take as they perform gymnastics on street signs illustrate the courage we need as a society to manage this change collectively and in solidarity. Their public performance will take place on the Brühl, which itself has undergone a major transformation, from the prestigious shopping mile of the GDR to the deserted boulevard of the post-reunification era.
