Making music together brought young orchestras and two European Capitals of Culture together in September 2025: The guitar orchestra of the Chemnitz Municipal Music School and an ensemble from the Oulu Conservatory, the Finnish European Capital of Culture 2026, presented the world premiere of the guitar piece "Winds" by Janko Rašeta, a collection of Finnish folk songs, the "Concertino 3" by Pieter van der Staak and other pieces. The commissioned composition "Winds" made the Capital of Culture Chemnitz unforgettable for all eternity - its afterlife will enrich the cultural life of future generations of guitarists, musicians and listeners.
