A minimalist illustration depicts a solitary figure on a sandy beach gazing out at the ocean. The sky is filled with abstract, line-drawn clouds against a light background, creating a serene and contemplative atmosphere.

What do DNA strands and fungal cultures have to do with art? What do young fashion designers do with new technologies, and what does the monk do by the sea? The creativity of European players in the cultural sector is boundless, and we showed what became of ideas when they were realised on a European scale. There was a lot to discover: virtual worlds, young literature from neighbouring countries and a best of European short films. The projects presented were supported by the EU's Creative Europe cultural funding programme.
