Crossborder Creatives

CROSSBORDER CREATIVES promotes collaborations between creative professionals in Saxony and the Karlovy Vary region. Plans include collaborations with German cultural stakeholders, a joint database of cultural organisations from both regions, and a catalogue of creative professionals. The centerpiece, BERGSCHAU / Kopec Kreativity, created by 4K and Kreatives Erzgebirge e.V., highlights the best of the cultural and creative industries from the Ore Mountains and the Czech border region. Launching at Buntspeicher Zwönitz, BERGSCHAU / Kopec Kreativity will later travel to the Karlovy Vary region. As part of CROSSBORDER CREATIVES, this exhibition is accompanied by intercultural initiatives, such as art residencies in the Saxony and Karlovy Vary regions, creative workshops, and events like the Pecha Kucha and Crossborder Artwalk. All are designed to foster collaboration and celebrate regional creativity across borders.
