The European Capital of Culture in Chemnitz is to be a special experience for everyone in a colourful and cosmopolitan city that is free of fear. This requires people who actively shape democratic togetherness. These individuals can be found in shops, offices, pubs, associations and other places displaying »Hier findest du Verbündete« stickers (»You’ll find allies here«). Statements and actions that are contemptuous of human beings are not tolerated in these places. There are people here who will help if someone is insulted or attacked in any way. You can also make yourself visible as an ally with small »Ich suche Verbündete« stickers (»I’m looking for allies«) to put on bags, laptops or smartphones, for example.
