The European Capital of Culture Chemnitz was to be a special experience for everyone in a colourful, cosmopolitan and fear-free city. This required people who actively shaped democratic coexistence. They were found in shops, offices, pubs, clubs and other places where stickers with the slogan "Here you found allies" were displayed. In these places, inhumane statements and actions were not tolerated. There were people here who helped if someone was insulted or otherwise attacked. You could also make yourself visible as an ally with small "I was looking for allies" stickers for bags, laptops or smartphones, for example.
