Forum Lokaljournalismus is a well-known information exchange among media professionals. Issues of local information gathering and its journalistic conveyance are attracting more than 150 journalists to Chemnitz this cultural capital year. One time only, editors-in-chief, publishers, and decision-makers are opening up their conference in the 2025 European Culture of Capital to guests from near and far. At Carlowitz Kongresscenter, the discussion about current topics in local journalism is an open one. With the support of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, a unique opportunity for understanding and exchange in the European cultural capital year is created.
