The Local Journalism Forum was a well-known exchange and information platform for media professionals. Issues relating to local information gathering and its journalistic communication brought more than 150 journalists to Chemnitz during the European Capital of Culture year 2025. In a unique event, editors-in-chief, publishers and decision-makers from the industry opened up their exchange of experiences in the European Capital of Culture in a forum for guests from near and far. With the support of the Federal Agency for Civic Education, a special opportunity for understanding and exchange arose during the European Capital of Culture year.
