Surrounded by almost 1000 garages, there is a meadow in Chemnitz's Harthweg on the edge of Kaßberg. It is the venue for a festival dedicated entirely to garage culture. The programme takes place with the active participation of garage users and follows their biographies, hobbies and skills - be it vaulting on a mechanical horse, perfuming fragrant wonder trees or taking a ride in a Trabi.

There will also be a talk show with the writer (then showmaster) Lukas Rietzschel. Olivia Schneider from Ostfluenz has set herself the goal of setting a collective mustard record together with the festival guests. Director Tanja Krone will also be there with the premiere of a musical: Songs for Security - SONGS OF (IN)SECURITY. She developed the show together with many old-established and new Chemnitz residents: as the first security conference in the former East.
