The ceremonial opening of the Capital of Culture year in Chemnitz will take place on Saturday 18 January.
From 16:00 to 18:00, artist Christian Lang will give a guided tour of his exhibition "Spannungsfeld" and cantor Steffen Walther will play music for the guests in St Jakobikirche.
