In the large-scale drum installation by Andrew Unruh (Einstürzende Neubauten), neighbours and visitors can join in the drumming without any prior knowledge. Lots of drum sticks will be distributed and you can drum and dance to your heart's content.

GELEBTE NACHBARSCHAFT is a main project of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, focussing on sustainability and a green city. Joint planting campaigns bring neighbourhoods in Chemnitz and the Capital of Culture region closer together. The participatory project is flanked by suitable educational programmes and artistic activities.
