On a bus excursion through Chemnitz, Waldheim and Carlsfeld, we immerse ourselves in the history of the bandoneon. The Dresden bandoneonist will provide the musical accompaniment to the tour led by Peer Ehmke.

Which historical bracket can be used to link the following places? Karl Marx Monument in Chemnitz, Waldheim Prison and the family holiday resort of Carlsfeld in the Ore Mountains? It is an accordion, which some people call a "bandonion", others a "concertina", but which was also called a "squeeze box" or "Ziehkast'l" in the past. On this excursion, you will find out how it all fits together. The tour will be accompanied musically by the well-known Dresden bandoneonist Jürgen Karthe.
