The European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 - that's over 1,000 events. Chemnitz 2025 is also a huge urban development project with its intervention areas. Spread across the entire city, the city of Chemnitz has tidied up overgrown wasteland, rediscovered long-forgotten corners and fulfilled wishes large and small. The intervention areas are finished - and are waiting to be discovered!
On the weekend of the intervention areas, you can see what you can do here in the future: The local actors offer guided tours, go on a hike, play a concert or invite you to an activity day for children - we look forward to seeing you!
