Every year on the first weekend in April, artisans in 21 European countries open their workshops and studios to visitors of all ages for the European Days of Arts and Crafts (ETAK). There is also plenty to marvel at in Saxony and, of course, in the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025. Artistic trends and regional specialities are waiting to be discovered, creatives can be seen at work and artisans can be talked to at workshops. Whether at the Muldenhauer, fine bag maker or goldsmith - there is something to discover everywhere! Especially in 2025: an all-encompassing European kick-off event in Chemnitz, not only as a meeting point for various trades from the regions, but also as the ceremonial start to the EUROPEAN DAYS OF CRAFTSMANSHIP, invites you on a European voyage of discovery in the cultural capital region.
