Location

Various panels will be held for the 31 Netztwerkhäuser (independent theatres), particularly in the Komplex, in the circus tent on the Sonnenberg and in the Weltecho. However, in order to not only talk and discuss internally, there are some formats that are also open to the Chemnitz public.

20.05.2025 at 9 pm "Die STANZ in Grenzland"

The Stanz (36) has remained in Grenzland. At her side is Joschka (18), a young boy who officially has no father. But his father is very close by, turning up almost daily at the LIDL supermarket where Stanz sits at the checkout. They never look at each other. Distance is everyone's topic. The borderland is pressing. Until Joschka rebels and wants to see his father. The drama begins.

A spoken play on 50 pages with strange pauses.

21.05.2025 at 6 pm at the market "PULK - democracy-promoting circus" by Klub Girko

Klub Girko invites you to a participatory performance in public space: In the beginning, there's just this cube made of construction fence elements. But the cube quickly becomes a space in the city, a white square with several entrances and exits, a playground for people of all ages. Interaction and audience movement are at the centre of KLUB GIRKO's work. Elements from contemporary circus, sound design, architecture and visual arts create a participatory experience for the audience.

Interaction, audience movement, democratic decision-making and group dynamics are at the centre of the project. The performance relies on symbols and non-verbal communication and thus enables diverse participation. Following the interactive performance PULK, Klub Girko offers a creative workshop. Led by performers Josef Stiller and Moritz Grenz, the workshop enables visitors to get creative themselves. Inspired by the elements experienced in the performance - bamboo, symbols and sound - participants can experiment, create and experience success together in a supportive environment.

The workshop invites participants to realise their own ideas without pressure and to exchange ideas in a diverse group.

Every Saturday, Gretha treats herself to WD-40, tries out new framesets and carries her neighbour's wood from the cellar to the second floor. Gretha is the humanised result of the wishes of a mother who, in the middle years of the 21st century, fed the dream of a "fabulous" child into an AI. And Gretha has become perfect. But one Saturday, she is given the opportunity to disappear from her standardised life...
