🎶 11 years of Fête de la Musique Chemnitz in the European Capital of Culture 🎶

The Fête de la Musique is once again welcoming summer to the city - and for the 11th time! To mark the occasion, the music festival naturally wants to invite everyone in Chemnitz to join in, listen and enjoy. What's more, this year it's all happening on a Saturday - giving us twice the reason to make Fête 2025 even bigger and with even more music!

On 21 June, a musical programme with musicians from various genres and cultural backgrounds will kick off the weekend on the stages in the city centre. We will publish the entire programme in advance on our website so that you know in good time where and when your favourite artists will be performing. In between, spread throughout the entire area of Chemnitz city centre, our street musician squares complete the musical programme - there is hardly a place at the Fête de la Musique without music, dance or performance.

In the spirit of its inventor Jack Lang, the Fête does not charge admission. Nevertheless, you should take your wallet with you for drinks and food at our small food mile. This is where caterers from the city present themselves and make sure that nobody has to go hungry.
