You are cordially invited to the special film series "Focus 2025: Generations" at the Metropol cinema in Chemnitz! Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film over a small snack.

The film series is an initiative of the "Team Generation" of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025 gGmbH and the Metropol Chemnitz cinema. The aim is to strengthen intergenerational connections in the community through the special cinema experience for older people. We look forward to seeing you and sharing many wonderful film moments together.

Focus 2025: Generations

In the Capital of Culture year 2025, the Chemnitz cinema "Metropol" will be part of the annual Europäische Filmfestival der Generationen . In preparation for this, the Team Generation of Chemnitz 2025 has designed a monthly film series especially for older people. As part of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, Team Generation is entrusted with the participation of children, young people, young adults and older people and is developing a programme that takes up and combines their perspectives.
